The makers of the Paragon 5 system, LPS MLS Solutions, issued the following statement about the interaction of its product and Java. Paragon to discontinue support for Internet Explorer 8

The Paragon tech team announced recently the end of its support for the Internet Explorer 8 and Opera browsers. Citing an “ongoing decline” in usage of Internet Explorer 8 and “extremely low” usage numbers for Opera, LPS MLS Solutions, the makers of Paragon 5, says it will halt support for both on February 4, 2013. The firm will continue to support on a “rolling basis” what they term as the “most recent” versions of Firefox, Chrome, Safari and Internet Explorer 9 & 10.
